How to Throw A Cute & Simple Birthday Brunch!

Hi Guys!

I feel like it’s been a bit since I’ve been on here but like I said in my last post, I’m really good at taking on too many things at once, which makes my life a little hectic. However, I love to be crazy busy so I guess it is what it is! Okay moving on.

Today I wanted to talk about throwing a fun and simple birthday brunch. Somehow myself and six out of the eight of my roommates all share birthdays within three weeks of each other. Whether that’s a blessing or a curse…I’ll get back to you on that. Luckily, the last of the birthdays was this past weekend. This last celebration I wanted to do something special and what’s more special than brunch?

The key here is simple. Sometimes less is more and this is one of those circumstances, especially for a college student. Our brunch consisted of mimosa’s, cinnamon rolls, yogurt and fruit, avocado toast, eggs, croissants, and last but certainly not least…ice cream cake. All of these don’t take much prep and are easy foods to grab and throw on a plate!

Decorations were simple as well consisting of birthday-themed plates and napkins with cute plastic champagne glasses. We also had balloons and party poppers (I think that what they’re called?). Below I’ve listed everything you’ll need for your celebration. I shopped at Walmart for most of the decorations but realistically you can probably find everything you need at the dollar store!

  • Party plates and napkins
  • Plastic champagne glasses
  • Plastic table covers
  • Ballons or paper lanterns
  • Party poppers
  • Ingredients for dishes you choose
  • Happy Birthday sign
  • Serving dishes and spoons
  • Plastic silverware
  • Birthday candles (I really thought the gold ones were so cool looking!)
  • Birthday cake

Obviously, you can customize this however you choose, but this was what I used for my birthday brunch! This was a lot of fun to set up and the birthday girl was so surprised and excited. Most importantly, I hope this inspired you for your next upcoming celebration! I love to hear from you guys so don’t forget to leave a comment below!

Have a Delightful Day,
